Oakdale Church seeks to empower every disciple of Jesus to live into their calling to be Ambassadors of reconciliation on behalf of Jesus to the world. Oakdale believes wholeheartedly in the priesthood of all believers. If you a disciple of Jesus, Kingdom ministry is your privilege and responsibility. The primary arena for Kingdom ministry is in the world.

God has however, set apart some of His people to equip the "saints" for ministry. These "coaches" are often ordained to work primarily inside the church to equip and empower the rest of the church for the ministry to the world. Ordination is our responsibility to recognize, encourage and commission people for this equipping ministry. We are now ready to ordain Silas Samson recognizing his call to equip other pastors and leaders both here and in India for increased effectiveness. Silas has a Master of Divinity from Wesley Seminary and has met with Oakdale Pastors and Elders throughout this process.

Please join us on Sunday, November 8 at 1:00PM for the ordination service and luncheon to follow. It is our honor to celebrate all God is doing, and will continue to do, through our brother-in-Christ, Silas, to equip our church as well as church leaders in India and beyond.
